Quick And Easy Apple Crumble Cake
Ingredients

1 cup sugar
·
1 tsp. salt
·
1 cup flour
(
If using self-rising flour, omit salt and baking powder)
·
1 tsp. baking powder
·
1 small egg
·
6 large tart apples-peeled and sliced
·
1/3
cup melted butter

Steps
1.
Preheat oven to 350 oF/177oC
2. Coat
13 x 9 baking pan with butter or cooking spray
3. Sift
sugar, salt, flour and baking powder together.
4. Add
unbeaten egg
5. Mix
well with fork until mixture has the consistency of coarse cornmeal.
6. Line
bottom of pan with sliced apples.
7.
Sprinkle over all with flour mixture
8.
Drizzle over all with melted butter.
9.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, using enough to lightly cover cake.
10.
Bake for one hour until done.
